At the start of the Dec. 1 meeting, the commission approved the consent agenda (today's agenda, minutes and listed consent items) after a motion and second and a voice vote in favor. Staff presented the commission's draft 2026 calendar, which keeps the commission on a quarterly schedule (February, May, August and November) with a goal of returning to monthly meetings in the future. Staff also noted the establishment of a new salary commission to set mayor and council salaries next year.

A motion to conclude the meeting was made and seconded near the end of the agenda; the commission approved the motion by voice vote and adjourned at 5:25 p.m. The commission's next scheduled meeting is Feb. 2, 2026.
