Chair Amick introduced Troy Rayburn as the new city administrator for College Place, and Rayburn addressed the commission on Dec. 1.

"My name is Troy Rayburn. I am the new city administrator. This is day 3 on the job," Rayburn said. He told commissioners he was born and raised in The Dalles, Oregon, attended Oregon State University and the University of Oregon, and has worked in state and local government roles including staff positions at the Clark County Board of Commissioners in Vancouver, Washington. Rayburn said he looks forward to working with the commission and meeting the community.

Commissioners welcomed Rayburn and briefly asked about his background and experience; the exchange was congenial and introductory in nature.
