The Board of Public Works and Safety approved two payments tied to the city’s TSO project during its Dec. 1 meeting: Sudam Contracting’s pay application #4 for $80,199.90 and an engineering services invoice for $1,372.50.

City staff reported the TSO project is progressing on schedule and on budget. Work noted in the pay application includes installation of the roof frame for the recycling compactor and sheathing of the building’s east side; staff said foul weather and the Thanksgiving holiday limited progress but the project remains on track for year‑end completion.

The board approved both payments by voice vote. Staff said the engineering and inspection budget will still have approximately $20,000 remaining after the engineering invoice is paid.
