Bradford County commissioners approved the department of transportation project priority list, which largely mirrored projects solicited last year and — if funded by the state — would likely be programmed for 2030. County staff noted the priority ranking remains unchanged and recommended approval.
Commissioner Doherty moved to approve the project priority list and Commissioner Reddick seconded; the board approved the list unanimously.
On a separate procurement item, staff reported two responses to a pest‑control RFP: a responsive bid from Knox Pest Control and a second submission found nonresponsive because it lacked required items (company identification/cover page, certificate of insurance, and a compliant frequency/level of service). The procurement review committee recommended awarding to Knox Pest Control. The board moved to approve the recommended contractor and voted in favor.
County staff emphasized the importance of complete, properly assembled bid packages during the discussion and noted that nonresponsive submissions are rejected to preserve fairness in procurement. The contracts will be executed through standard county procurement procedures.
