The Village of Addison recorded the following actions at its Dec. 1 meeting:
- Adopted the 2025 property tax levy ordinance (combined total $17,689,571) and approved abatements for four bond series (2015, 2016A, 2016B, 2017).
- Approved the purchase and acceptance-transfer ordinances for property at 848 North Mill Road from Addison School District 4 (purchase contingent on the district’s approval).
- Adopted a resolution authorizing amendment and extension of the O’Hare Noise Compatibility Commission intergovernmental agreement through 12/31/2030.
- Endorsed the DuPage Mayors & Managers Conference legislative priorities for 2026 (municipal pensions, local investment, public-records modernization, mobility adaptation).
- Approved NLogic Consulting annual support contract ($96,000) and an additional maintenance contract ($29,317.50), both with bid waivers.
- Approved a three-year Ethernet services sales order with Comcast Business ($72,538.80 annually) and a request to waive formal bidding.
- Approved Payment No.6 to Boulder Contractors Inc. ($1,156,727.79) and Change Order No.2 ($108,829.96) for the combined-sewer separation and detention-basin project.
- Adopted a resolution authorizing execution of a $600,000 Community Development Block Grant funding agreement with DuPage County for Roseanne Drive, Lenore Street and Mavis Lane water-main replacement and resurfacing.
- Approved sign-code variations for Access A to Z Family Health Center (721 W. Lake St.) and approved the planned-development/special-use ordinance for Logistics Property Company at 2349 W. Lake St.
- Approved a one-year lease with Flock Group Inc. for six license-plate readers ($19,996) funded by a $20,000 Illinois Attorney General retail-theft grant and waived bidding for system compatibility.
