The Anderson City Plan Commission voted Oct. 28 to approve petition 17-25, a secondary/final plat for Lot 1 in Singh Commercial Subdivision, by a unanimous 6–0 roll-call vote. Staff said the building is already constructed and the filing is a housekeeping measure to finalize the plat.
Steve Servies of Servies Engineering, representing the petitioner, told the commission that the final plat "followed the approved primary plat, virtually identically," and that this type of after-the-fact filing commonly occurs when infrastructure is completed before final plat paperwork.
A commissioner asked hypothetically what would happen if the plat were denied; staff and representatives acknowledged denial could create practical consequences, though staff described the item as routine. The commission approved the motion and staff closed the agenda, announcing the next combined November–December meeting on Dec. 9.
