Anderson City’s Plan Commission voted on Oct. 28 to continue petition 15-25 (ordinance 31-25), a request from ATVMS Trust LLC and Alexander Shapiro for a zone map change, after staff said the petitioner did not complete required certified-mail notice in time.
Micah, the commission staff member who presented the item, said the petitioner "didn't get their certified mail notice done on time," and asked the panel to grant a continuance so the public-notice requirement could be satisfied. A motion to continue the petition to the commission’s combined November–December meeting on Dec. 9 carried by voice vote with no opposition.
No further debate was recorded. The commission indicated the item will return on Dec. 9 for formal consideration once notice requirements are met.
