The Glendale Housing Authority said it is planning a housing summit for March 2026, Chair Asadoyan announced at the authority’s Dec. 2 meeting. "We've been meeting with our housing and CDD staff for the housing summit," Asadoyan said, and the event will allow staff time to schedule and prepare.
Asadoyan said organizers expect "roughly 3 or 4, main topic areas" for the summit, citing servicing renters, issues for landlords, financing for current homeowners and opportunities for first-time homebuyers. She said additional details will be shared at the authority's next meeting.
Earlier in the meeting the board moved and seconded to approve the minutes of the Nov. 18, 2025 Glendale Housing Authority meeting. A roll call was taken and affirmative responses were recorded; the minutes were approved by roll call vote as recorded in the meeting transcript.
There were no oral communication cards submitted during the public comment period. After the summit update and brief procedural business, a motion to adjourn was made, seconded and the meeting was adjourned.
The authority noted the meeting agenda had been posted on Nov. 25, 2025 on a bulletin board outside City Hall. The authority said it will provide more information about the March summit at a future meeting.
