The Anderson City Parks Board on Dec. 2 approved the 2026 GolfView rate schedule after reviewing options for daily fees and season passes. Rachel Johnson, pro shop manager, said the general increase reflected rising costs. "The major difference is...the general take is about $3 more on daily fees," Johnson said, and she explained the board's existing Monday special for 18 holes was raised in projection from $20 to $25.

Johnson described two pass structures: a 25-round pass (listed at the bottom of the schedule) and full seasonal passes that allow unlimited play. Board members asked about discounts (city attorney, seniors) and whether to vote individually or by consensus; the chair conducted an individual vote of members present. The motion to accept the 2026 rates was moved, seconded and approved.

Next steps: staff will implement the new rate schedule for the 2026 season and provide the attorney with a copy of the approved schedule as requested by board members.
