Anderson City Parks Board on Dec. 2 voted to approve its Nov. 2 minutes and accepted the monthly financial report. Business administrator Miss Brunicki told the board accounts payable were $46,005.73 and payroll for the month totaled $114,387.65, bringing combined payables and payroll to $160,960.95.
The board noted a clerical date discrepancy on the financial sign-in sheet — the top of the document listed Nov. 4 while a signature line read 12/01/2025 and the back showed Nov. 26. Chair members agreed to mark through the incorrect date and enter Dec. 1 before signing. Miss Brunicki said she would correct the date and check that amounts matched prior to signature.
A board member inquired about a $539.25 line item. Miss Brunicki said the charge paid for training for staff member David Ives on the Civic Rec reservation and payment system; she said multiple staff participated in a virtual training so they could accept online reservations and payments.
The motion to accept the financials (with the corrected date) was moved, seconded and approved. The board also heard an announcement that IHOP will sponsor a community 'Breakfast with Santa' on Dec. 13 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the Geter, with pancakes, eggs and children's activities. The board voted unanimously to carry the motions noted at the meeting.
Next steps: the board will forward corrected financial documents to the city attorney and circulate the Santa event flyer to members.
