Richmond City board forwards two polymer supply quotes to management for recommendation

SNF Polodyne of Riceboro, Georgia, proposed a year‑one cost of $1.62 per pound, rising to $1.66 in year two and $1.69 in year three; the vendor listed a tote price of $37.26 for a 2,300‑pound tote in year one with higher tote figures presented for later years. Citco Water of Lexington, Kentucky, quoted $1.98 per pound in year one, $2.19 in year two and $2.28 in year three; Citco’s quoted tote totals were $4,534.20 in year one, $5,015.10 in year two and $5,221.20 in year three. Citco’s quote was described as valid for 90 days; SNF Polodyne’s quote was described as valid until Dec. 31, 2026.
"The quote's valid until 12/31/2026," Mr. Bakshi said when reporting the SNF Polodyne terms, and he asked the board to leave the remaining details for staff review. The chair confirmed both submissions would be passed to management for a recommendation at a later meeting.
No formal procurement award was made at the meeting; the board’s action was to forward the two written quotes to management for further evaluation.
