Council staff reported progress on training and regional interoperability work that supports the MOLST modernization project. Melia said training sessions will take about 30 minutes and that she will schedule individual 30-minute slots and resend the Connecticut Department of Public Health/MOLST Zoom background for presenters.
"Based on Kathy's recording, I think things will take about 30 minutes," Melia said, and reported 34 returned quizzes from the recent APRN conference training. Staff encouraged members to request slots and to contact Melia directly for assistance with slides and virtual backgrounds.
Barbara Cass also described participation in Greater New England regional meetings on MOLST/POLST 'COST' work to explore interstate acceptance of MOLST forms and what regulatory steps would be required. Massachusetts is working on an electronic registry but faces challenges; the regional group invited user‑perspective contributions from council members.
Next steps: Melia will continue scheduling training, staff will circulate meeting invitations for regional work to interested council members, and follow-up items will be reported at future meetings.
