Assistant county administrator Jill Sir Meyer reviewed applications and a cover sheet that summarized vacancies, reappointments and applicants for multiple county boards and commissions.

The board discussed district‑specific openings and at‑large positions for planning commission, board of adjustment, HRA, parks, library, human services advisory and other panels. Commissioners expressed a preference to fill some posts immediately (for example, Angie for an at‑large planning seat) and to hold on others while staff follows up. The board approved reappointments and appointments including Paul McIntyre for Regional Emergency Medical Services, Chris Grunas for the Dairy Advisory Committee, Arif Hassan for the Library Board, Mark Thompson and Orville Winlobring for parks commission seats, and Zachary Dorholt for community corrections (per staff recommendations in the packet).

Commissioner Notch moved and Commissioner Clark seconded the motion to confirm the recommended appointments; the board approved the slate by voice vote. Staff will provide a summary email with outstanding vacancies for follow‑up.
