At its Dec. 2 meeting the Iredell County Board of Commissioners approved routine consent items presented by county staff.
County Manager summarized three consent items reviewed earlier: approval of a three‑year lease for the building at 203 South Meeting Street to the Iredell County Arts Council; conveyance of retired compactors from the Solid Waste division to another governmental entity in a disposition process for a combined amount of $15,000; and approval of the Nov. 18, 2025 meeting minutes. Commissioner Brown moved to approve the consent administrative matters and the board voted in favor.
The board also announced multiple vacancies on boards and commissions and directed interested applicants to the county website and the clerk to the board for applications and ETJ boundary maps.
The meeting earlier had included a closed session under North Carolina General Statute 143‑318.11(a)(6) related to personnel; the board reported ‘‘nothing to report’’ from that session.
