County staff told the Administrative Services Committee on Dec. 3 that most capital projects are progressing as planned but one contractor conflict required on-site attention and is being worked through.

The update included a specific operational change: Prestige Lake’s nursing side passed inspection and animal-control staff will temporarily move into the nursing side while buildout continues on the facility’s front desk and other animal-control areas. Staff said that move is anticipated to happen next week, and that the overall project remains on track.

Committee members asked routine clarifying questions; no additional funding requests or formal amendments to the capital plan were reported in the committee meeting. Separately, the committee clarified that a separate resolution involving reclassification will be sent to the full county board for action and requires no further committee vote.

The committee did not take a formal vote on capital-plan changes during the meeting; the items were reported for information and for follow-up as needed.
