Richmond Public Schools reported Dec. 2 that Head Start enrollment stands at 93.4 percent for the program year. Administrators said they are closing the gap toward full enrollment and invited questions from trustees.

Trustees thanked the Head Start team for the achievement. Trustee Harris Mohammad, Trustee Percival and others commended staff and specific contributors named in the meeting. Trustees asked procedural questions about 200-day school designations and how those items would return to the Board for further discussion.

With no further questions, Trustee Harris Mohammad moved to accept the Head Start report and the Board approved the motion on a roll-call vote.
