Commissioners approve routine plats, leases, contracts and payroll in short Oct. 21 session

During a relatively brief Oct. 21 meeting, the Albany County Board of Commissioners approved several routine items including land‑use, lease and contract actions and approved payroll and vouchers for October 2025.
Gerald Engen and 6 Bar E LLC requested an amended plat for Block 2, Lot 4 and Block 3, Lot 46 in Bar E Estates. Planning staff reported the amended plat included the necessary information and commissioners approved the amended plat after a motion.
The board approved the first amendment to special use lease SU‑1026 between the State of Wyoming Board of Land Commissioners and Albany County for Pilot Hill property; staff said the lease had previously come before the board and the state had made changes prior to returning it for action.
Commissioners approved a construction contract with Prairie Equipment LLC to remove an interior wall in the election building. County staff confirmed election equipment had been relocated and estimated the work would take about one month; the contract includes language to define substantial completion and a final completion date.
The board also approved termination of a customer service agreement with SRED IT (originally signed in 2018 with automatic renewals) and authorized staff to send cancellation notice. The board approved the 2025 wellness contract with Wyoming Health Fairs to provide an employee blood‑draw fair and vouchers for employees unable to attend the November 5 event.
Finally, commissioners approved payroll and vouchers for October 2025 and adjourned the meeting.
