Ada County planning commission approves City of Kuna area-of-impact map amendment

Stacy Dupree, a development-services planner for Ada County, presented a proposal to reestablish the City of Kuna's area of impact and recommended approval at a public hearing Wednesday evening.
Dupree told the commission the City of Kuna adopted its future land use map by resolution 44-2025 and submitted the request to Ada County on July 23, 2025. She said the amendment is being processed under Idaho Code section 67-6526, which took effect in July 2025 and requires cities to reestablish areas of impact with the county by Dec. 31, 2025.
