Albany County commissioners approve final payments, grants and routine contracts; list of actions

Bulletproof Vest Partnership grant application: Commissioners approved submitting the county's annual application to the U.S. Bureau of Justice Assistance to purchase body armor for the Albany County Sheriff's Office; staff said the application seeks funding to replace equipment as items expire and that the request this year covers seven vests.
Pilot Hill Trailhead parking amendment: The board approved Amendment No. 1 to the agreement with ARCON Incorporated to move the substantial completion date to June 30, 2026, citing required redesigns to the detention pond and a delay in transformer delivery; staff reported a plan to seek a temporary certificate of occupancy to open parking and restrooms for winter use.
Subdivision exemption: The board approved an exemption from the county's large-tract subdivision process for a request to create a 38.55-acre parcel from a 206.5-acre parent parcel, finding the request met the county subdivision resolution requirements on water supply, legal description and population thresholds.
Other approvals: The board approved Amendment 1 to the cooperative agreement with the Wyoming Department of Family Services for child support processing, authorized an engagement letter with Hathaway & Coontz for drafting ballot/resolution language, accepted two retail liquor-license applications for processing (Phoenix at the Snowys LLC and Old Corral), approved a janitorial-services contract with Little Joe Company LLC for the Supervised Treatment Program offices, verified a motion for an order to show cause following executive session, and approved payroll and vouchers for November 2025.
