Board defers vote on SRO contract with APD, requests final revised contract

Superintendent Maggie Fuhrman and district staff said they have been working with APD to restore the fifth SRO and hope to have that position filled in January; they reiterated that the district pays only for officers actually provided. Board members directed staff to share the corrected contract as soon as possible so the board can review and vote at the next meeting.
