Seider reported precinct-level vote totals for State Propositions 1 through 16 and confirmed the total number of ballots returned. "Total ballots cast was 3,423," Seider said while reading precinct totals and per-proposition turnout figures.
The counts Seider recited show variation in turnout by proposition; individual propositions recorded between about 3,319 and 3,395 total ballots cast in the precinct reports she read to the court. The county clerk'style record on file with the court contains the full, itemized totals for each proposition.
A motion to approve the canvass was made and the court adopted it. The record notes the motion was made by Commissioner Gillespie and seconded by Commissioner Bowen; Presiding Officer then called for the vote and announced, "Motion carries." The elections official's presentation and the court's approval complete the county's formal canvass and entry of the results into the county record.
The court did not announce additional actions tied to the canvass during the meeting; the clerk's minutes will contain the full tabulation as presented by the elections office.
