Baldwin-Whitehall board approves five-year contract appointing Dr. Randall Lutz superintendent

The Baldwin-Whitehall School District board on Tuesday approved a five-year contract appointing Dr. Randall Lutz as superintendent beginning Feb. 1, 2026, and ending Jan. 31, 2031, with terms described as consistent with '24 PS 10-1073.' The motion was moved, seconded and the chair announced the vote passed by voice as 8–0 with one member absent.

Dr. Lutz, who had led earlier portions of the meeting, thanked trustees and said he appreciated the board’s support. "I appreciate your support," he said, and offered that he would make additional comments later in the meeting.
