Speedway Redevelopment Commission approves TIF spending plan, roundabout change order and several contracts

Speedway — The Speedway Redevelopment Commission, meeting Nov. 24, approved a slate of routine financial and project items, including this year’s TIF spending plan and several project contracts and change orders.
Economic Development Director Kyle Markley told commissioners the commission’s claims listing included a Smock Fansler invoice tied to the Al Unser Senior Roundabout work and a total of $245,685.31 in claims on the packet; he asked that an additional late invoice from Keeser Consulting Group LLC for $28,000 be added to the claims list. "I did receive this invoice in time," Markley said, asking the commission to approve the added invoice.
The commission approved the claims, including the added consulting invoice, by voice vote, 5-0.
