James Morgan was elected president of the Bristol Township School District board during the district's reorganization meeting, held at 6 p.m. The board swore in newly elected members and then moved to select officers for the coming year.
At the start of the meeting the chair recognized certificates of election for newly elected members Drew DiDonato, Gallus Obert junior, James p Morgan the third and Tim Witherspoon junior, each to four-year terms. The Hon. Robert Wagner administered the oath of office to members, who then took their seats at the dais.
Mister Harkins nominated James Morgan for president; the nomination was seconded and the board voted in favor. "It's an honor to serve again for my seventh year as president of this wonderful school district," Morgan said after being elected.
Morgan then asked for a nomination for vice president. Donna Kelly was nominated and seconded; the motion carried 8-0, according to the board. The newly elected officers will serve until the next reorganization.
Board members also arranged to have photos taken of the full board for the district's digital media and confirmed the next regular meeting for Jan. 20, 2026. The chair closed the meeting following final procedural items.
The reorganization meeting focused on formalities required by the district after the election: administering oaths, recording certificates of election, and selecting board leadership. No policy votes or budget actions were taken at this meeting.
