The Bristol Warren Regional School Committee cast several formal votes during its November 17 meeting. Key outcomes:
- Consent agenda (items A & B): motion moved and carried; property disposals (item C) was pulled for discussion and approved. (Motion moved by Miss Reese, second by Miss Piper; vote: unanimous for listed items.)
- Memorandum of Agreement with the Rhode Island Department of Education (RIDE) related to Mount Hope High School construction: motion moved and approved unanimously.
- CLAC (special education local advisory committee) bylaws revision: motion moved and passed; members supported streamlined leadership roles and statutory alignment.
- Budget transfers and monthly financial statements: routine transfers were approved; finance staff reported bond draw activity and that stage 3 is closed out and stage 4 activity is underway.
