CCB approves settlement with Blossom Group over repeated audit violations; $8,000 penalty imposed

Senior Deputy Attorney General Tony Grama presented the settlement (Case No. 2025‑006), telling the board that the complaint followed the CCB’s 2024 audit and included repeat findings from earlier audits. According to Grama, the respondent admitted one Category 3 violation for failing to properly tag cannabis and one Category 5 violation for failing to submit required quarterly reports on time.
Under the settlement the respondent agreed to pay an $8,000 civil penalty, payable in a lump sum or in installments over eight months at the respondent’s option, and accepted a formal warning for the Category 5 violation. Grama said staff and the Attorney General’s Office considered aggravating and mitigating factors in reaching the agreement and recommended board approval. The board moved, seconded, and approved the settlement without recorded dissent.
The settlement resolves the active complaint and will be reflected in the CCB’s enforcement record for the facility.
