Chase County commissioners met Nov. 26 and approved routine county business, adopting a new solid-waste management plan resolution and carrying two construction-related change orders.
Presiding Official (unnamed) moved to approve the warrants for Nov. 26, 2025; the motion was seconded and carried by voice vote. The board also approved payroll for Oct. 25–Nov. 24, 2025, and the minutes from the Nov. 17 meeting.
The commission voted to adopt Resolution 2025-09, described by staff as the county’s annual solid-waste management plan. The board also approved change order 2025-1 (an extension order related to a church project at Elm Dale) and change order 25-2, which removes two trucks from the tax roll after they were reclassified as registered commercial vehicles.
Unidentified Speaker 4 moved the meeting into a 10‑minute executive session to discuss non‑elective personnel; the motion was approved and the public minutes record that no action was taken after the session.
The board closed the meeting after routine business and wished the community a happy Thanksgiving. The next commission meeting was noted for mid‑December.
