The Churchill County Library Board of Trustees approved routine governance and finance items at its Nov. 20, 2025 meeting and asked staff to clarify allowable uses of the library's gift fund.

The board approved the meeting agenda as submitted after noting a minor correction in the packet. The board then approved minutes for the Aug. 28 and Sept. 10 meetings with one typographical edit identified by a trustee. Both votes carried on recorded aye responses.

The board approved the monthly budget report for October 2025 following a motion and second; the motion carried after the aye votes were recorded. Trustees then reviewed the library gift fund report for October 2025. One trustee asked whether gift fund dollars could be used for capital improvements such as window repairs. "We can look into that, but it's my understanding that that would have to go to out of a different fund," Priscilla Baker said, adding she would confirm the fund rules.

A motion to approve the October gift fund report passed and the board noted it would follow up on the allowable uses. The board confirmed its next regular meeting is scheduled for Dec. 18 at 3:00 p.m.

No contracts, ordinances or appointments were considered at this meeting; the approved items were routine agenda, minutes and finance reports.
