Toby Farms school leadership presented a set of measurable goals, performance indicators and implementation strategies at the Nov. 19 meeting.
In a 20‑minute presentation, Tahara Burrell reviewed the school’s vision and listed numeric targets for the 2025–26 cycle: by June 30, at least 14% of students in grades 6–8 will reach proficiency or advanced on the state ELA assessment and 6% will reach proficiency/advanced in math; related I‑Ready stretch goals were 16% (ELA) and 15% (math) for different measures. Burrell also described protocols to increase I‑Ready usage (a goal that at least 75% of learners use instruction 30–50 minutes per week) and small‑group instruction fidelity checks (measured by a local rubric).
Attendance and behavior targets included a regular‑attendance goal of 57% by June 30 and a plan to reduce suspensions related to physical aggression and threats by 10% month‑over‑month compared to the prior year. Burrell said targeted tier‑2 social‑skills groups and climate managers will support students with 2 or more physical‑aggression referrals, and described PBIS (positive behavioral interventions and supports) usage across classrooms.
Burrell said the school is tracking progress with data trackers and will report back at POC meetings; when asked about enrollment she gave an approximate figure of 363 students.
