"It was geared towards the older kids on Friday evening, and then Saturday was for the younger kids," Speaker 2 said, adding the first-year event was "a pretty big success."
Speaker 2 also said the aquatic center will close for its annual shutdown between Thanksgiving and December for maintenance and cleaning to prepare for the upcoming year. The department also noted the 'top shelf barrels' event hosted about 450 horses and ran smoothly, and planners hope to bring it back next year.
