Albany, Millersburg sign intergovernmental agreement to share Green Peter Dam litigation costs

Kirsten Preston said Albany will manage the work with outside counsel (firm Margaret Herbold) and will bill Millersburg according to its 16.7% ownership share of the jointly owned Albany‑Millersburg Water Treatment Plant. The agreement describes the allocation of costs and recovery mechanics and includes staff acknowledgements of minor typographical errors that will be corrected before finalization.
Staff said the IGA will be on the Wednesday consent agenda and offered to answer council questions; council members expressed support for the approach and had no substantive objections during the work session.
