Resident Elden Foreman told the council he has been trying for weeks to get a response after city crews installed a waterline across the street from his home and left bricks and debris in his yard.
"About 7 And A Half Weeks ago, the city came down and installed a waterline across the street, dug a hole in my yard, left a bunch of bricks and debris in the yard," Foreman said, adding he left at least a dozen messages that went unanswered. He asked when the city would correct the problem.
A city representative said staff would follow up after the meeting and that street crews plan to return to repair curbing and restore cobblestone areas once work on the Garvin Park drainage project is finished. The representative acknowledged the resident’s calls and committed to follow-up contact.
Foreman said he will return to the council if he does not receive a response. No formal remedy or timeline was recorded in the meeting minutes beyond staff follow-up.
