Planning commission recommends approvals for multiple parcel‑map and reversion requests; some items continued due to quorum

At its November meeting the Churchill County Planning Commission reviewed multiple land‑division applications and moved several forward to the Board of County Commissioners with recommendations.
Parcel map PC2051 (Ronald and Pamela Giovannetti) proposes two partial maps to create four lots in an E‑1 zoning district. Dean Patterson explained NRS merger/resubdivision complications and sewer/water master plan constraints; staff flagged master plan conformity concerns but noted an "infill" exception could apply. After discussion the commission amended and passed a recommendation to the Board of County Commissioners to approve the partial maps and include planner‑recommended language on easements and offers to dedicate as required under NRS.
The commission also recommended approval of a reversion to acreage map for Austin and Amber Hood (merging two Peaceful Way lots) and recommended approval of parcel map PC25‑12 (Casey Family Trust) to divide an 80.05‑acre parcel into four lots, subject to the conditions listed in the staff reports (including required road improvements on Trento Lane and easements).
Two parcel maps filed by Bart Hyatt (items E and F) were set for combined consideration but were continued because Vice Chair Vic Anso recused and the commission lost a quorum. Those items will return to a future meeting.
