Senior Produce Program supported 342 households this season, organizers report

At the Oct. 20, 2025 Caldwell City Council workshop, Daniel Adams, a health education specialist with Southwest District Health, presented the annual report for the Senior Produce Program, an initiative that provides weekly market vouchers to eligible seniors (age 60 and over).
Adams said the 2025 season ran from July 15 through Sept. 30, and improved funding this year allowed organizers to raise the total voucher pool from $10,000 to just under $15,000. The program supported 342 households during the market…
