Council also addressed a complaint that dirt bikes were repeatedly damaging park trails. Staff said enforcement is the key issue and that the police should be involved; engineering solutions such as additional bollards were discussed but staff noted offenders often bring trailers and can find ways around barriers. "Enforcement is gonna be the key part to that," staff said.
Resolution 132 was on the agenda; council discussion focused on project scope, tree counts, matching funds and the need for enforcement to protect trail improvements.
