The Denison Planning and Zoning Commission approved the consent agenda at its Oct. 14 meeting and heard staff updates on an upcoming sign ordinance rewrite and draft residential architectural standards.
Commission Member (unnamed) moved "to approve the agenda in item b as stated," the presiding officer seconded the motion, and the chair called the question; at least two commissioners recorded 'aye' on the voice vote. The motion passed on the record.
City staff used the consent-agenda meeting to provide an extended update on a rewrite of Chapter 19 (signs), including a legal recommendation to form a sign board drawn from planning commissioners, and an update on draft residential architectural standards with a follow-up expected in mid-November.
The presiding officer then entertained a motion to adjourn; the motion was moved and seconded and the meeting was declared adjourned at 10:09 a.m.
