Paul, planning staff, told commissioners the filing covers lots 1 and 2 (referred to as phases 7 and 8) and included an updated site map to show exactly what the commission was being asked to approve. "I think brandy also included the preliminary plat that was previously approved to kind of help," Paul said, noting he had reviewed the earlier preliminary intake to confirm there was no addition of a new phase.
Commissioners asked questions about the site map and staff reports. One commissioner moved to approve the final plat, another seconded, and the motion carried in the roll-call vote. Paul noted the decision by the commission is a recommendation and that final approval will be decided by city council next week at 6:00 p.m.
The commission’s recommendation sends the matter to the city council; any remaining technical conditions or required signatures will be resolved through the council’s final approval process.
