He outlined active capital and maintenance projects: the Lindaway sidewalk replacement is about 80% complete; the Forest Parkway landscaping project is approximately 70% complete and is anticipated to finish next month; crews are resurfacing Metcalf Road; and the department is working on acquiring easements for the proposed Waldrop Road sidewalk with easement work expected to start in January 2026 (director emphasized this phase is acquisition, not construction).
