Dickinson planners table rezoning request for Heart River neighborhood after resident opposition

The City of Dickinson Planning and Zoning Commission on Wednesday voted to table a contested rezoning request after multiple neighbors spoke against the proposed change.
The request, REZ-007-2025, would amend the zoning map from low-density residential (R-1) to medium-density residential (R-2) for Lots 32–36, Block 1 of the Heart River 4th Subdivision (about 1.13 acres).
