Public works crews cleared storm drains and utility staff surveyed systems for issues.
The city’s GIS team built a live mapping dashboard used during the response. Staff said the app allowed field teams to plot photos and damage points in real time; that data was shared with county emergency management. The city manager and chief praised interdepartmental coordination and credited the dashboard with helping prioritize resource deployment.
Staff reported no significant utility failures that required emergency notification and asked council to review the damage assessment packet provided to members. Councilmembers asked whether the dashboard could be made viewable to council and whether lessons learned would guide future preparedness.
