The Gallatin City Planning Commission reviewed multiple final plats and final master development plan items in a block of routine business.
Jim Carpenter, staff planner, presented the Crossings at Hidden Creek Jenkins Lane extension: the plan would add Jenkins Lane and 22 single-family lots on 7.05 acres and engineering asked that traffic-impact studies for the two nearby intersections (Big Station Camp and Bison Trail) be updated to evaluate whether separate left- and right-turn lanes are needed. Applicant representative Landon Allison (Kimley Horn) said his traffic team would review the study and coordinate with staff.
Kimberly Atley, staff planner, presented the Nexus Tennessee final plat covering Phase 2 sections 7 and 8 (described in the plan as 28 lots in one section and 49 in the other); Atley said comments were minor and the plat is consistent with the previously approved FMDP. Brad Snyder (CSDG) represented the applicant and had no substantive comments.
Planning staff described Tompkins Farm Phase 2B as the last section of that development — roughly 10.5 acres in MRO with 40 lots for the phase and 87 lots overall in the section — and said only minor corrections were needed; Austin Turner (Greenlaw Design) said they were fine with staff comments.
Commissioners treated these items as routine and asked staff and applicants to return if required corrections remain. No formal votes were recorded in the transcript.
