The Claremore Council on Feb. 3 approved a zoning map amendment identified as Permit 2025‑18.
Planner Mr. Clifton summarized the proposal as consistent with the comprehensive plan’s neighborhood conservation policy, enabling modest, organic changes in residential areas. He told the council the planning commission voted unanimously in favor at its Oct. 7, 2025 meeting and that staff received no public comments during the notice period. "As a result of that, considering all these factors, we did recommend approval of the vote," Clifton said.
Council members moved, seconded and approved the zoning change by roll call during the meeting. No conditions or stipulations were recorded in the meeting transcript.
The council did not take additional action beyond the approval recorded at the meeting.
