A councilmember moved to approve the arts commission’s logo contest; during the motion a councilmember asked that the $200 prize be included in the record and the amount was acknowledged as part of the motion. The council voted in favor.
Council then considered the appointment of Shauna Wright to the arts commission. A motion to appoint Wright was made, seconded and approved by roll-call vote of the members present.
