Hayden City — The Hayden City Council approved the final plat for Marks Ranch and accepted public infrastructure on Nov. 12, 2025, contingent on the completion of items enumerated by staff or an acceptable bond to secure incomplete work.
During the presentation staff explained that one requirement for final plat completion was either tying an internal road into an adjacent road or providing a turnaround that meets the International Fire Code. Council members asked about the timing for completing the temporary turnaround and whether nearby tracts were county land or part of later phases. Staff said the developer would address outstanding items and that the staff recommendation lists conditions and options (bonding or completion) that must be met before final acceptance.
A council member moved to approve the Marks Ranch final plat and accept the public infrastructure, with the motion seconded and approved on a roll-call vote of the members present. The approval includes staff’s listed contingencies and requires the mayor to sign the final plat once conditions are satisfied or bonds are posted.
