Replat near West Pine Street & North 4th (3a): Staff said publication errors had been corrected and described the filing as a final plat; the applicant (referred to in the record as Mister Sterling) was present and the commission voted to recommend approval.
Replat near West Mulberry Street & North 11th (3d): Staff described a lot split that will create one single-family lot facing Mulberry and one duplex facing North 11th. Applicant Brad Aycock said the proposal aligns with existing zoning and offers adequate ingress and egress. The commission voted unanimously to recommend approval.
Conditional-use permit (3e) for a CrossFit gym on Goad Industrial Boulevard: Staff said the site is currently zoned I-1 and recommended approval of the CUP after noting uncertainty about sewer capacity. Commissioners asked about toilet counts and surface drainage; staff agreed to follow up and confirm drainage records. The commission recommended approval and will forward its recommendation to City Council.
New business: Commissioners asked for a monthly progress update on the city code rewrite and staff agreed to include brief timelines or status reports on future agendas.
All of the commission’s approvals are recommendations; City Council will consider the items at its next meeting.
