The commission continued review of a proposed aluminum pergola and six columns for the balcony at 517 Park Street, asking the applicant to provide clearer elevation drawings and attachment details that show how columns and the pergola fasten to the existing balcony and beam.
Staff told the commission the building was constructed in 2020 and requested drawings that show attachments, connection details and views from the street, including renderings or photos from further down the block so the commission can evaluate public‑facing impacts. The applicant’s representative said additional elevation renderings and videos had been uploaded but staff did not have them in the packet; commissioners said submitted materials must include clear sections and attachment details so field inspectors have enforceable documentation.
Because the packet lacked those specific drawings, commissioners voted to continue the case to allow the applicant to supply the missing information.
