Rob Foster sworn in as Keene councilmember for Ward 1

Rob Foster took the oath of office on Nov. 17, 2025, in a special Keene City Council meeting. Judge Shaw of Johnson County Precinct 4 administered the oath and directed Foster to repeat the sworn statement, including a pledge that he had not “paid, offered, or promised to pay” or “contributed or promised to contribute any money or thing of value” in exchange for votes.
During the oath Foster repeated: “Do solemnly swear or affirm … that I will faithfully execute the duties of the office of council member Ward 1 for the City of Keene.” Judge Shaw then concluded the administration and Foster signed the oath documents.
The council announced a reception for those elected to office to be scheduled after the Dec. 13 runoff. The council also confirmed its next regular meeting for Dec. 4, 2025, at 6 p.m.
