Hayden, Idaho — The Hayden City Council unanimously approved Change Order No. 3 to a construction contract with Interstate Concrete & Asphalt Company for revisions to the Ramsey Road–Lancaster Road roundabout during a special meeting on Oct. 7.
Council President Rotor moved to approve the change order; a council member seconded the motion and a roll-call vote found all present members in favor. The approval follows staff recommendations included in the meeting packet and brief council discussion confirming the change order would be paid from funds already set aside for the project.
The change order was presented as an item of unfinished business. Council members asked only procedural questions, focused on whether the work would remain within the project budget. Staff responded that the change order would be funded from the amount set aside for the project.
The council’s action authorizes staff to proceed with the revised scope as specified in the change order and to work with the contractor on implementation. No additional public hearings or ordinance readings were required for the action.
The meeting moved on after the vote to a separate, longer agenda item on the urban renewal district expansion.
