URA approves amendment to Gillum 500 easement to adjust access alignment

Staff presented an easement amendment for the 500 Building area in the Gillum site that adjusts the alignment to the east to accommodate a pipe location and recently granted stream-buffer variance. The area discussed is part of the larger parcel that includes Stevens Lake but is constrained by floodplain and stream setbacks; staff said the acreage is comparable to the existing easement and the adjusted corridor is on URA‑owned land.
Frances Jackson of Robinson Weeks (and president of the property owners association) had raised the access needs. Board member discussion confirmed the easement serves a nonbuildable area and that the move provides Robinson Weeks access without materially changing acreage. Mister Wilson moved approval, Mister Lawrence seconded, and the motion passed unanimously by voice vote.
The URA recorded the approval and will update easement exhibits and title documentation accordingly.
