Kennedale council confirms multiple appointments to boards and commissions

The Kennedale City Council on Oct. 21 approved a series of appointments and reappointments to city boards and commissions.
For the Economic Development Corporation the council appointed Tyson Eubanks to Place 1, Kenneth Michaels to Place 3, Dustin Verona to Place 5, David Glover to Place 7 and Ron Ray to the currently vacant Place 4. Mark Geary will remain EDC chair and Marcel Terry will remain vice chair, per the packet remarks.
For the Keep Kennedale Beautiful board (transcript read 'Keep Canada Beautiful'; minutes and this article use the corrected local name Keep Kennedale Beautiful) the council appointed Kimberly Courtney to Place 5, Stephanie Yori to Place 3 and Vaush Singh to Place 1; Kimberly Courtney will serve as chair and Lori Sanders as vice chair.
Other appointments: Parks and Recreation Board — Tamiko Sargent (Place 5), Veil Coleman (Place 3), Jazdeep Korr (Place 1) with Corey Hines named chair and Develle Coleman vice chair. Planning & Zoning — Jeff Madrid (Place 3), Andrew Makowski (Place 1) and Socorro Martinez (Place 5), with Andrew Makowski named chair and Michael Brown vice chair. Board of Adjustments and Appeals appointments included Kelly Rod (Place 3) as chair, Pat Vater (Place 5) and Tiffany Moroccazzi (Place 1) with James Connor named as an alternate. Library Board appointments included Jonathan Shafran (Place 1), Tamiko Sargent (Place 5), Nicole Makowski (Place 2) and Jassy Core (Place 3).
The council moved and seconded the motion and approved the appointments unanimously.
